Quick Introduction to Violet
Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m in search of my compassion-hold home, and could that be with you? My name is Violet, and I’m a precious flower with a smile that can light up the world. I was recently diagnosed with cancer, yet I have lots of energy and a wonderful disposition. I am not currently on any medication or in any pain. I love people so much, and I’m currently living in a boarding facility, so all I want for the remainder of my life is to be cared for, cozy and loved in a real home with my humans. After having lived a good part of my life on the streets, it would be a dream come true to have a home I can call my own, which I truly deserve. And in that home, I promise to sprinkle my humans with my petals of love in return.
Violet’s Background
I was living on the streets as a stray and ended up at a larger inner-city shelter. I had a huge tumor, and the shelter wouldn’t have been able to give me the surgery I needed. Rescue Haven Foundation (RHF) stepped in and got me the surgery I needed. We found out I had cancer. We also consulted with an oncologist and found out that it is terminal. In spite of this, I’m a happy girl who’s full of life. We have no idea how short or long I have left in this world, but one thing we know for sure is that I’m looking forward to every second of it.
Violet’s Compassion-hold Home
RHF made a promise to me — that I would be surrounded by love and comfort for the rest of my life. And that they will help my compassion-hold family with the medical care, supplies and support they’ll need. A pet-free environment is required – other animals cause me stress, and I deserve to live a stress-free life. And when I find my special someone, I want our love to fully bloom as we are on this journey together. I can’t wait to be the one to tell you that “there’s no place like home.”
